improving tasks for 2G/3G/4G project. Drive Test Logs Analysis on Actix, troubleshooting
and solving major optimization issues. IRAT neighbors/handovers optimization and
definition, network audit, including parameters and antenna tilts etc. Conducted post-processing analysis using
Deskcat Tool (measuring RX, TX, Ec/Io, PN, Frequency, and Pilot Pollution)
and made reports for possible optimization steps to be pursued. Initial system design, dimensioning, and RF
optimization. RF design and optimization activities for a GSM network using
enterprise post-processing and KPI reporting application for cluster/market
acceptance. 09/11 to 02/12 Prestige Telecom, on
contract to: Rogers – Edmonton, Canada Associate RF Engineer/Drive Tester Performed RF network design, planning, and
optimization activities. KPIs monitoring of Expanded Radios/Sectors
and new site. Ensured smooth activity, on-spot detection, and correction of
cross-feeders/sectors. Expansion audits. Initial site optimization of new sites to
attain acceptable KPI thresholds for acceptance to the customer. Performed frequency and neighbor audits for
new sites to check for discrepancies. Verified newly added frequencies for
possible co/adjacent clash in case of expansions. Pre and post swap parameter audit,
optimizing the network to achieve committed SLAs. Updated parameters and neighbor list using
work orders on the sites being optimized. TRX expansion and capacity site planning
using traffic data of complete network. Computed expansion equipment requirement.
Redesigned overshooting cells based on TA plots. Provided diagnosis of all RF related issues
such as degradation in CSSR – high SDR, high TCH blocking, high TCH
Assignment Failures etc., degradation in HSR – poor radio conditions,
improper HO margins, interference, synchronization issues, Co BCCH-BSIC
clashes etc., and degradation in Call drop – poor radio conditions,
interference, missing front neighbors etc., and taking corrective actions to
enhance these KPIs. 04/08 to 08/10 Mobilink RF Solutions
